Home Sweet Home

H&M Shirt | Topshop Jeans & Bag | Zara Boots

I'm back home in Iceland for the next week or so to visit family and I couldn't feel more at peace. I'm getting things done that I've been putting off for months and finally getting round to reading some of the books that I've had on my shelf for too long. I'm currently reading Patti Smith's 'Just Kids'. It was a recommendation off Youtube (as most things are in my life) and my dad was so shocked that I was reading a memoir written by an punk artist from the 70's. I must say I don't understand all the references she makes but isn't that the point of reading outside of your realm?

I took a trip with my family to the North of Iceland this weekend to stay at a gorgeous (haunted) old cottage. On the Saturday we also visited a small town my Grandfather's family was from. I'm such a city girl that when I find myself in small, quaint towns I feel like a different version of myself. We parked the car outside this tiny church when we arrived. We then walked in to find a man filling the church with a song on the piano. It's little things like that which make my soul happy. Keep up with my trip on Snapchat: habbaa & Instagram: habbaheimisdottir.

Until next time...
